FAQs

You certainly can! The fonts and colours are editable parts of the design and are included in the price so we can match your wedding theme. The only design elements that cannot be changed are the colours of the watercolour illustrations. All coloured envelopes of your choice are also included where applicable. If you would like to make any changes to your chosen design, just let me know when you place your order.
-
Yes! I always advise couples to book into my diary as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment, as I can only take on so many projects each month. Don’t worry if you have no idea which design you would like to choose or even how many invites you may need, you can still book into my diary in advance to secure your booking for £50, which is then deducted from the total invoice amount.

My sample packs are £10 each and contain a selection of stationery items from the launched collections. Although the sample packs cannot be personalised, they are a great way to see the quality of the print and materials in person before placing an order. Also, if you choose to work with me on your wedding stationery, the price of your sample pack will be reimbursed as a thank you.

PDF proofs will be provided to you as part of the process and they will be added to your client portal to give you a detailed look at the mockups of all the designs I have created for you. (It is important to note that you must check the final proofs very carefully for any spelling, grammar or information errors. If these are found after the order has been printed, a re-printing charge will be incurred.)

he time it takes to complete an order is largely dependent on the timely approval of all necessary amendments and final designs. For ‘Customisable Collection’ orders, the usual timeframe is between 2–4 weeks, and all ‘Bespoke’ orders can take up to 6–8 weeks. Please be aware that it normally takes 7–10 days for the printers to get everything back to me. This includes me checking every item of your order to ensure everything is perfect before sending it on to you, so please bear this in mind when placing an order.

All my stationery gets sent to a professional printer to ensure you get the best quality card stock and ink available. Stationery orders without specialist print finishes are printed on either 300gsm Fedrigoni Tintoretto or Fedrigoni Fresco Gesso textured card. For special print finishes such as Digital Foil, orders will be printed onto 350gsm Silk smooth. Larger stationery items, such as A-Board signage, are printed on a 3mm 100% Recyclable Board. Finally, my luxury envelopes are proudly manufactured in the UK by an FSC-accredited, eco-conscious paper mill.

At the start of every project, I ask for a 50% deposit before we begin the design process, and then the remaining balance of your order must be paid before everything is sent off to print. Invoices will be sent to you via the KJDesigns client portal, where you will see the breakdown of costs and payment details at the bottom.

All orders are sent via the ‘Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm’ service to ensure your order gets to you quickly and safely. The total cost of Postage and Packaging is £19.95. Large A-Board signage, such as Welcome Signs and Table Plans, are delivered via DPD directly from the printers with a £15 delivery fee. I am taking steps to ensure as much of my packaging is as eco-friendly as possible.

When ordering your stationery, it's always best to account for unexpected guests by adding 10–15% to your final guest count. This ensures there are leftovers without the need to order more, which can end up being quite expensive later down the line. Don’t forget you only need one invite per household!
